Formula 1 confirms additional Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia's Jeddah, track along Red Sea
Formula 1 on Friday confirmed that Saudi Arabia will be added to the 2021 calendar, with the race track set to be at Jeddah on the banks of the Red Sea.

Formula 1 has anunced that Grand Prix will make its way to Saudi Arabia next season in what will be a brand new race on F1 2021 calendar. Saudi Arabia F1 Grand Prix will take place in city of Jeddah, with track to run along banks of Red Sea. remainder of F1 2021 calendar is set to be anunced in near future.

Formula 1 anunces Saudi Arabia Grand Prix
Saudi Arabia will become 33rd country to host a Formula One Grand Prix after racing organisation confirmed that Gulf country will be part of 2021 season. Jeddah will be venue for Saudi Arabia F1 Grand Prix till a purpose-built track at Qiddiyah is completed, which is expected to be rey by 2023. F1 is yet to anunce 2021 race calendar but reports suggest that organisers want it to take place at night under lights.

Chairman and CEO of Formula 1 Chase Carey said that organisation is excited to bring Saudi Arabia on board, and said Gulf Country is rapidly becoming a hub for sports and entertainment with many major events taking place re in recent years. F1 CEO said that Saudia Arabia F1 Grand Prix presents an exciting potential to reach out to new fans, while existing fans can watch races at a historic location.

Saudi Sports Minister Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki said that Grand Prix reflects transformational journey country is on. Prince Abdulaziz ded that country wants to be at very heart of biggest moments in live sport and entertainment and hence were accelerating forward towards speed, energy, excitement of Formula 1.
He ded that Formula 1 is an event that brings people toger to celebrate an occasion that goes far beyond sport and y're looking forward to sharing unique experience and Jeddah with world. Saudi Sports Minister furr ded that Saudi Arabia F1 Grand Prix will be a dream come true for many Saudis. race is expected to be held in vember 2021.
