Audi Give Harsh Take On Kick Sauber's Current Performances

Audi boss Mattia Binotto gave a harsh verdict on the performances of Kick Sauber as they will officially transition to Audi in 2026.

Kick Sauber Formula One team has been in a world of trouble ever since season began and ir troubles have continued to pile up as season has progressed. Kick Sauber currently sit at bottom of table and are only team on Formula 1 grid who are yet to score any points. Kick Sauber team will officially become Audi from 2026 onwards and will be heed by former Ferrari boss Mattia Bitto. 

Bitto recently gave a harsh verdict on current performances of Kick Sauber and ir drivers.

'We cant afford it'- Bitto On Sauber's Performances 

Mattia Bitto recently shared his views on current state and performances by Kick Sauber team who will become Audi from 2026 onwards. 

“We cant afford it. I think this is team that has to become, in future, a winning team. And only way to do that is starting to move up, progressing. We need to train our muscles for future.

“So, yes, I think we need certainly to improve. That's important for ourselves, that's important for team. It's important for brand. It's important for our partners. And we cant somehow accept current position,” said Bitto in his harsh review of Sauber.

Bitto On Sauber's Failures 

Kick Sauber have t been able to improve upon ir failures all season as y look to get a point from anywhere. Bitto furr ded on how Sauber needs to do a lot of work so that y can reach levels of or cars. 

“We cant hide behind fact that we have been last and second last in Zandvoort race, and qualifying [here], same positions some distance to cars ahe. So, we need to put effort in improving.

“We need to balance all priorities and our efforts from short to medium and long term. But I don't think certainly that our position today is a comfortable one for us at all. It's very painful.

“As I said, we need to train our muscles, and we need to improve because solid foundations do t come in one day. It's a team that needs to do continuous progress every single day, step by step. So, starting from as soon as possible I would say.” 

Bitto officially became a part of Kick Sauber from 1st August onwards and has been reviweing things in team.
