The pressure on Sergio Perez and his Red Bull seat continues to mount and the Mexican Formula 1 driver didn't do himself any favours as he crashed out in Qualifying of the Hungarian Grand Prix 2024. 

Just when Red Bull need both their drivers performing at their highest level given McLaren are closing in on them in the Constructors Championship, Sergio Perez's poor form has caused a great deal of form. 

With rumours swirling around the Paddock that Red Bull might look to replace Sergio Perez with Daniel Ricciardo during the summer break, Checo's crash sent the F1 social media into whirlwind as the fans reacted to the crash.

Given Sergio Perez consistent poor performances for Red Bull there's a growing consensus that the Austrian team could sack their driver during the summer break. Many fans took to social media to share their reactions on the crash with memes as they compared him to how Daniel Ricciardo was ready to take over.

Checo Perez's terrible qualifying session meant that he will start the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday in 15th spot. Given that Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri have qualified in P1 and P2 while Max Verstappen P3. Given, McLaren's rising pace there's a risk that Red Bull's Constructors Championship advantage could quickly vanish. Hence, Sergio Perez in on very thin ice in terms of keeping his F1 seat at Red Bull.
