'The Problem Child' was successful in defeating his rival by decision. The most crucial round of the fight, round five, saw him knock Diaz to the ground.

Jake Paul hits out at Conor McGregor

Although they engaged in a competitive fight, Conor McGregor took to Twitter to fire off a few shots at popular rapper Saweetie, giving the impression that he had grown weary of the fight. Conor McGregor's tweet was intended as a subtle jab towards Jake Paul and Nate Diaz. 'The Problem Child' was notified of McGregor's tweet when he stood in front of the media after the bout. In his reply, Paul scorned "The Notorious" and had grand aspirations for the future. 

"I don't care about that guy. He needs to go to rehab. I want Nate [Diaz] in MMA, I want more professional boxers, and I want Canelo." said Jake Paul at the media address after the fight.

Conor McGregor vs MMA fighters

Jake Paul overcame a decision loss to Tommy Fury earlier this year to defeat Nate Diaz by scores of 97-92, 98-91, and 98-91. Although there have been rumors about a rematch between the two in MMA, nothing is certain at this time. Ever since he stepped inside the sector of combat sports, Jake Paul has targetted MMA fighters who have either been past their prime or at the twilight of their careers. Till now Paul has attained victory over Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva, and now Nate Diaz from the MMA world. While he states that he is not interested in fighting Conor McGregor but not too long ago he was willing to move mountains to make the fight happen.
