Woods won his last Major, US Open, all way back in 2008 when he beat Rocco Mediate for title. Since n, he has been reportedly battling injuries. And just like that, 11-time PGA player of year fell from grace. In April 2019, he anunced his comeback with a win in 2019 Masters tournament, which was his fifth Masters win. It leaves him one shy of Jack Nicklaus' record six Masters win, and three short of his record eighteen Major wins. His performance materialised when it mattered most and almost feels like a throwback to 2000s. He w has three top-10s in his past four Majors.

In wake of this comeback, he has decided to work with publishers Harper Collins for aforementioned memoir. book will start with Woods' childhood as a prodigy, encompassing his 81 PGA tour wins – second-highest total in history and his 15 Masters victories. confirmed release date has been anunced as of w. book is also supposed to visit his devastating injuries and personal troubles with infidelity and subsequent sex diction in detail. This memoir is going to be first and only account directly from Woods, with full cooperation of his friends and family.

Woods is returning to competitive golf on October 21 to be part of a skins game with Rory McIlroy, Jason Day and Hideki Matsuyama in Chiba, Japan. He's also planning to play in PGA Tour's new event, Zozo Championship, that starts October 24. Both of those events are at Accordia Golf Narashi Country Club. It will be Woods' first time in Japan in 13 years.
