Game of Thrones star Hafthor Bjornsson broke the world deadlift record by lifting 501kg last weekend. The Icelandic strongman revealed his 10k calorie diet.

Hafthor Bjornsson provided insight into his life as a strongman and his diet. In an interview with Stuff.co.nz,  new delift world record holder said that he has six meals a day and consumes nearly 10,000 calories in process. Hafthor Bjornsson diet mainly includes rice, steak, carrots with some peppers, while he also consumes chicken sometimes.  Game of Thrones star ded that maintaining his diet is tough part and he has to eat every two hours to fuel his body. 10,000-calorie diet is one of vital reasons behind Hafthor Bjornsson delift record and Icelandic strongman ds that he's never hungry and is always eating and working out.

Hafthor Bjornsson broke Eddie Hall's delift world record last weekend at Thor’s Power Gym in Iceland. Hafthor Bjornsson delift record is an incredible 501 kg (1,105 lbs) breaking Hall's 500 kg record. Game of Thrones star also holds  world record for elephant bar delift lifting at 474 kg (1,045 lb), a record he racked up during 2019 Arld Strongman Classic. Icelandic strongman was cast as Ser Gregor " Mountain" Clegane for  fourth season of  HBO series Game of Thrones in August 2013. world record holder played character for five seasons before show's finale in 2019.
