Hima Das' gold rush continues as she bags top spot in 300m race at Czech Republic

Top Indian sprinters Hima Das and Mohammad Anas won a gold each in women's and men's 300m races respectively at the Athleticky Mitink Reiter event in the Czech Republic.

Top Indian sprinters Hima Das and Mohamm Anas won a gold each in women's and men's 300m races respectively at Athleticky Mitink Reiter event in Czech Republic.

This was Hima's sixth gold in European races since July 2 through field in most of m has been mediocre. Her last win was on July 20 when she clinched a gold in her pet 400m event at ve Mesto in Czech Republic.

"Finished on top in 300 m in Athleticky Mitink Reiter 2019 today in Czech Republic," Hima tweeted after winning race on Saturday.

Anas, on or hand, won men's 300m race in 32.41 seconds.

"Gl to have won Gold in men's 300m at Athleticky Mitink Reiter 2019 in Czech Republic in a timing of 32.41 secs," he tweeted.

National record holder Anas has alrey qualified for 400m event for World Championships to be held in Doha in September-October while Hima is yet to achieve it.

Hima's Gold Rush

Das has been on a roll in Europe as she has alrey ded five gold medals prior to latest one. She previously completed in 200m race category and won four medals solely from category. Her last 400m outing was in Asian Championship held in Doha where she was forced to retire midway. Following her comeback,  19-year-old recorded her season-best timing of 52.09 seconds, anuncing her return to 400m race category as she and struck gold in first go and fifth one in 18 days at  ve Mesto n Metuji Grand Prix hosted by  Czech Republic on 20 July.
