Hockey India Junior Women National Championship: Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand Advanced to the Final

Hockey Mhya Presh and Hockey Jharkhand vanced to Final after victories in ir respective Semi Final matches on ninth day of 14th Hockey India Junior Women National Championship 2024 in Ranchi, Jharkhand today.

Hockey Mhya Presh confirmed ir spot in Final after a 1 - 1 (5 - 4 SO) win against Hockey Association of Odisha . Bahala Surekha (18’) scored to give Hockey Association of Odisha le but Patel Sneha (59’) in penultimate minute of match equalised for Hockey Mhya Presh and forced a penalty shootout. With both teams scoring two goals each in shootout match vanced to sudden death. Katariya Khushi, Kajal, and Huda Khan scored for Hockey Mhya Presh while ir goalkeeper Krisha Parihar saved third penalty to secure win.

Hockey Jharkhand defeated Hockey Haryana 2-1 to secure ir spot in Final. Roshni Aind (7’) and Parwati Topno (43’) scored to grant Hockey Jharkhand a two goal le in game. Captain Nandni (58’) scored to reduce deficit by a goal for Hockey Haryana but y failed to change outcome of game any furr.
