Hockey India suspends players from PAP for 12-18 months, PNB for 6-12 months
Hockey India unanimously decided to suspend players from the PAP for a period of 12-18 months while players from the PNB have been suspended for 6-12 months.

Hockey India on Tuesday unanimously decided to suspend players from Punjab Armed Police (PAP) for a period of 12-18 months while players from Punjab National Bank (PNB) have been suspended for 6-12 months. This decision comes on backdrop of recent violence that broke out during final of 56th Nehru Senior Hockey Tournament (Men) between Punjab Armed Police and Punjab National Bank. This decision was taken in Hockey India's disciplinary committee meeting, which was chaired by Bhola Nath Singh, vice president of Hockey India.
According to an official press release issued on Tuesday, committee has also placed PAP players Hardeep Singh and Jaskaran Singh under 18 months suspension while Dupinderdeep Singh, Jagmeet Singh, Sukhpreet Singh, Sarvanjit Singh, and Balwinder Singh have been suspended for 12 months with effect from December 11, 2019, for ir involvement in Level three offence under Hockey India/Hockey India League Code of Conduct.

Players suspended from PAP
PAP team manr Amit Sandhu has also been suspended for 18 months for a Level 3 offence and it has been recommended that PAP team be placed under three months suspension and t be eligible to play in any of All India tournaments with effect from March 10, 2020, to June 9, 2020, following expiry of ir suspension due to participation in an unsanctioned tournament. ditionally, players from PNB Sukhjeet Singh, Gursimran Singh, and Sumit Toppo have been suspended for 12 months while team skipper Jasbir Singh has been suspended for six months as captain is also responsible for team's conduct.

Players suspended from PNB
PNB team manr Sushil Kumar Dubey too has been suspended for six months due to his team's inability to follow Hockey India/Hockey India League Code of Conduct and sanctions. It has also been recommended that PNB be placed under three months suspension and t be eligible to play in any of All India Tournaments with effect from December 11, 2020, to March 10, 2020, says release.

It has also been agreed by committee that all above players would be on furr probation for a period of 24 months after expiry of ir sanctions and any breaches of Hockey India/Hockey India League Code of Conduct during this probation period would constitute an immediate Level 3 offence and individual will automatically be suspended for a period of 24 months.

Hockey Rajnandgaon suspended for 9 months
Hockey India Disciplinary Committee also decided to suspend players from Hockey Rajnandgaon for nine months. federation also reprimanded Hockey Bilaspur players with three months suspension with effect from today following on-ground violence that resulted in breach of Hockey India/Hockey India League Code of Conduct during recently held 4th Chhattisgarh Senior Men State Championship 2019-2020. Hockey Rajnandgaon Captain Mithlesh Pandiya is placed under three months suspension while Sandeep Yav, Taufik Ahm, Sukhdev Niramalkar have been suspended for nine months.
Rajesh Nirmalkar, who also officiated as umpire, was let-off with a warning for playing and officiating in same tournament while Sabbir Solanki, team manr of Hockey Rajnandgaon, was placed under three months suspension for a Level 2 offence. Bilaspur Hockey Captain Omkar Yav and team manr Ikhlak Ali have been suspended for three months for committing Level 2 offence while Louis Tirkey has been suspended for six months as he committed a Level 3 offence under Hockey India/Hockey India League Code of Conduct. tournament Director Kishore Dihwar was punished with a three months suspension for failing to perform his duties while umpire Shakeel Ahm was awarded 12 months suspension.

In ar hearing, Hockey India Disciplinary Committee issued a warning against Hockey Jammu & Kashmir for t managing state in a proper manner in respect of Sarbat Daa Bhalaa Hockey Tournament held from October 20-26 in Jammu since conduct of tournament was in violation of Hockey India Policy on sanctioned and unsanctioned tournaments. All teams and coaches who took part in Sarbat Daa Bhalaa Hockey tournament w face three months sanction while officials have been awarded six months sanction under FIH/Hockey India Policy for Sanctioned and Unsanctioned Tournaments.
Teams that were sanctioned for three months due to participation in this unsanctioned tournament include Punjab Armed Police, Jalandhar, Gurdaspur Hockey, Punjab, Khur Sahib Acemy, Punjab and SGPC Acemy, Amritsar.
