Indian junior women's hockey team received a warm welcome on an Air India flight while they returned from Melbourne to New Delhi after tri-nation victory.

An air India flight carrying Indian junior women's hockey team was filled with claps and joy after attendants and passengers joined in to congratulate team on its victory. junior Hockey team was returning to India from Melbourne after its victory in 3-Nations tournament in Australia on December 8. incident was caught on camera by a passenger on flight after which it me its way to internet and went viral. Flight members congratulate team
As seen in video, soon after players boarded Air India flight and settled on to ir seats, captain anunced ir presence in plane and congratulated team. Just n, passengers clapped and cheered as one of players walked across aisle on flight with trophy - escorted by a cabin crew member. Everyone around stood from ir seats and some clapped on being seated to congratulate players. video lasted about 1 minute 48 seconds.

Indian team won gold in Tri-Nation series against Australia and New Zealand. It h earlier lost by 1-2 to hosts Australia in ir fourth and final match of competition on December 8. Finally, in its third match, Indian team h defeated New Zealand. India h seven points from four matches, ahe of hosts Australia on goal difference, with New Zealand finishing third with only three points from ir 4 matches.
