Moment: Stanley Cup makes a splash with Winter the Dolphin

In a celebration of the Tampa Bay Lightning's 2020 championship, the Stanley Cup took a trip to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium to visit Winter the Dolphin, star of the Dolphin Tale movies.

In video provided by the aquarium, Winter can be seen flipping above the water and posing underneath and behind the oldest trophy awarded in North American sports. It was a photo opportunity enjoyed by the dolphins and staff alike at the Clearwater, Florida aquarium.

The Lightning's title, their second after winning in 2004, was historic. In becoming the first team to win the Cup after the month of June, the Lightning also became the first to win 18 playoff games, including two in a preliminary round seeding series, as opposed to the standard 16.
