Indian mixed relay team entered finals and booked ir place in Tokyo 2020 Olympics, this feat comes in as IAAF introduced mixed relay into its list of events in World Athletics Championship 2019. Almost 27 Indian athletes are participating in ongoing events but India entered World Athletics Championships on a low te due to aces like Hima Das, Neeraj Chopra staying out. However, in past few days, India has shown an aver showcase of performance. only ray of hope was seen when 4x400m mixed relay team entered finals. Here is how Indians delivered in Doha.

IAAF Day 1

India’s giant Murli Shreeshankar did t qualify for finals in men’s long jump event. qualification mark was at 8.15m and 20-year-old could only cross a 7.62m mark. Following defeat, India witnessed ar loss when Dharun Ayyasamy failed to qualify in men's 400m hurdles event. only knight in shining armour to save day was Jabir Madari Pillyalil who came third in heats in 400m hurdles.

IAAF Day 2

Sprinter Dutee Chand was seen failing in heats when she came 7th and did t qualify for meeting Olympic quota. Jabir Madari Pillyalil tried his best to qualify for finals in 400m but could t finish through. India saw a rise in hope when mixed relay team qualified for finals into top 8. squad of two men and two men included players hailing from Kerala. Jisna Maw, Nirmal ah, VK Vismaya, Muhammed Anas achieved this mesmerizing feat in IAAC WAC.

IAAF Day 3

only event on Day 3 was finals of mixed relay team. Jisna Maw, Nirmal ah, VK Vismaya, Muhammed Anas were seen running for tricolour and recording ir seasons best record. ir timing was 3:16:14. It will be interesting to see an Indian mixed relay team run at Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

IAAF Day 4 is ongoing and Indian athletes in action will be Annu Rani in javelin throw women’s event. Anjali Devi in 400m women’s heats. Archana Suseendran will also sprint to qualify in 200m heats.
