IND vs SA: ICC Introduces New Provisions Before T20 World Cup 2024 Finals, Massive Change Announced

Though there is a reserve day (June 30, 204) for the summit clash, but the ICC is trying its best to wind the World Cup up as per schedule.

IND vs SA T20 World Cup 2024 Final: Rohit Sharma-led Team India are all set to take on Aiden Markram's South Africa in finals of ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. match will be played at Kensington Oval, Barbos as threat of rain playing spoilsport looms large. Though re is a reserve day (June 30, 204) for summit clash, but ICC is trying its best to wind World Cup up as per schedule. 

New provisions for cut-off time announced

ICC in its new provisions included an ditional time of 190 minutes for IND vs SA T20 World Cup Final.  game is set to take place at 10:30 AM local time (8:00 PM IST), with a cut-off time of 1:40 PM (11:10 IST) in place.

Both Indian team and South African team should complete at least 10 overs for DLS method to come into effect. 

ICC has also confirmed a reserve day for final match.

India vs South Africa: What if it rains in Barbos? 

In event that a minimum of 10 overs cannot be played due to inclement wear, game will be rescheduled for Sunday and if rain disrupt play during match, teams will resume proceedings on reserve day at 10:30 AM local time (8:00 PM IST).
