Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre on CM Punk's possible return

After a promising beginning in the All Elite Wrestling promotion, backstage problems kept getting in the way, and after the events of All In 2023, he was fired from the firm a few days ago. Since then, there has been a lot of chatter on whether CM Punk and the giant corporation may reach an understanding for the former's return. In a media interaction, Drew McIntyre was questioned about Punk's return to WWE at the Superstar Spectacle that took place last week in India.

Despite The Scottish Warrior's 'controversial' description of Punk, he refused to comment if his return could become a reality down the line. "I mean, I don't make those decisions. I watch what I say in interviews. But he's (CM Punk) certainly controversial, and he gets people talking. So, I'll leave it at that," said Drew McIntyre.

In a recent interview, Finn Balor was also asked if he would like to wrestle CM Punk if he were to ever return to the WWE. When asked if he would be willing to wrestle anything for money, the Judgement Day member responded in a humorous way. "I'd be interested in wrestling a broomstick if someone is going to pay me money. Money talks," said Finn Balor.
