India Seniors win silver at Bridge Olympiad

 India Seniors signed off with a silver medal as y went down 165-258 to USA in final of 16th World Bridge Olympi here.

Indian team comprised Kamal Mukherjee, Vibhas Todi , Bal Das, Pranab Bardhan, Arun Bapat, Ravi Goenka and Girish Bijoor, who is n-playing captain.

In 96 board final, which took place over two days and six segments, competition was neck and neck after first two segments.

However, USA won third segment decisively, with a score of 53-7 IMPs, and from re, y never looked back, despite Indian team's determined efforts.

Meanwhile, in two pairs events held alongside final, young Indian duo of Sanjit Dey and Bid Shaw excelled, finishing as top performers in both events and ending ir maiden international competition on a high te.
