Ace Indian cueist Pankaj vani clinched a historic 28th world title, seventh in a row, defeating England’s Robert Hall 4-2 at IBSF World Billiards Championship in Doha on Saturday.

Hall took an early le in opening frame, but Indian rallied to reach magic 150 first. He n delivered an astonishing unfinished 147 break in second frame, leaving Hall stunned. third frame was a masterclass in tactical brilliance from both finalists.

“When I was t in full flow, it was my bror Shree, a sports psychologist, who came to rescue. He helped me stay in present and kept scoreboard ticking. This win is for my country and family,” said vani.
