'Bleak' would be word to describe future of Dallas Cowboys coach, Jason Garrett. When Cowboys succumbed to a defeat against Philelphia Eagles in ir penultimate game of season, y essentially placed ir destiny in hands of Eagles. However, despite Week 17 win over Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, with an 8-8 record have failed to make it through to playoffs for sixth time in Jason Garrett’s nine-year tenure as he coach. Speaking after Cowboys' 47-16 win over Washington Redskins, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones declined to dress Jason Garrett's future.

Jerry Jones mum about Jason Garrett's future with Cowboys
Jerry Jones dressed media after Cowboys' 31-point win AT&T Stium. When Jerry Jones was asked one question that was on everyone's mind, Cowboys owner sidestepped question. “I’m t going to get into it at all, an evaluation or an assessment. I’m t,” he said. “I’m going to do exactly what I always do and get up, go forward and do best job that I can.” While he did congratulate Eagles on making it through to playoffs, he stopped short of any direct mention of Jason Garrett. Jerry Jones concluded by saying that despite everything one thing he will t do is shut door on any option.

For his part, Jason Garrett said that he would prefer to stay on and coach Cowboys in 2020. However, Cowboys coach's current contract expires on Wednesday this week. Dallas Cowboys' season has been, by all means, a roller coaster. Inconsistency has largely been me for Cowboys in NFL this season. With an 8-8 record in NFL, it appears that writing is on wall for Jason Garrett, even if he stops short of reing it.
