Patriots star Julian Edelman escaped charges of misdemeanour vandalism following his arrest earlier this year for jumping on the hood of a vehicle.

Julian Edelman arrest was all over news on social media when New England Patriots wide receiver jumped on top of hood of a Mercedes-Benz earlier this year. According to reports from TMZ Sports, Julian Edelman was under influence of alcohol at time and jumped on hood of vehicle in front of police offers. Julian Edelman arrest took place in Beverley Hills, California and Patriots star was charged with misdemeaur vandalism. incident took place only a week after Patriots were eliminated by Tennessee Titans in wild-card round of NFL playoffs.

Julian Edelman charges were dropped by owner of car who chose to remain unnamed. 33-year-old was set to appear in court on Monday for a hearing but prosecutors have let Edelman off hook. Reports claim that owner of vehicle was compensated in full for dam done and refore decided to drop charges against Edelman, closing case once and for all.

Julian Edelman season with New England Patriots
Julian Edelman has been with Patriots since 2009 after being selected in seventh round on NFL Draft. Edelman is coming off one of his best seasons in New England. In 16 games for Patriots, wide receiver caught 100 passes for 1,117 yards including six touchdowns. Edelman also posted a video urging fans to remain at home amid coronavirus crisis.
