PKL 11: Devank And Ayan Lead Patna Pirates to Thrilling Win Against UP Yoddhas

Having trailed in initial part of match, Patna Pirates came back in style, as y romped past UP Yoddhas and won by a scoreline of 42-37, at GMCB Indoor Stium, in Gachibowli, in Hyderab on Saturday. For Patna Pirates, dynamic Devank was once again star of show with 11 points. Along with Devank, Patna Pirates also h Ayan scoring 9 points. For UP Yoddhas, it was Gagan Gowda who top scored with 9 points, while Hitesh registered a High 5 and Bharat bagged 6 points.

UP Yoddhas’ captain Surender Gill and Gagan Gowda got team off to a bright start, as raced into a 3-point le within first few minutes of contest. And complementing m was defensive unit, which put UP Yoddhas in box seat early on. 7 minutes in, Hitesh and UP Yoddhas inflicted an ALL OUT on Patna Pirates as well. At this point, UP Yoddhas were well and truly bossing contest.

For Patna Pirates, it was Devank and Ayan, who were leing charge, yet again. But, midway through first half, it was UP Yoddhas, who led contest by 7 points. After that, Patna Pirates started to mount a comeback, with Ayan taking charge in attack and Shubham Shinde led defence supporting him brilliantly. contest turned on its he with 5 minutes to go in half, as Patna Pirates inflicted an ALL OUT on UP Yoddhas, which brought both teams to 15-15.

For UP Yoddhas, Surender Gill, Gagan Gowda, Hitesh and Bharat were working well in sync, which was causing ir opponents some concern. At half-hour mark, Patna Pirates led by 3 points, but it was still anyone’s game.
