PKL 11: Powerful Puneri Paltan Put On a Stunning Display; Thrash Gujarat Giants

Puneri Paltan extended ir unbeaten run to four games when y stormed past listless Gujarat Giants in grand style at GMCB Indoor Stium, in Gachibowli, in Hyderab, on Monday evening. Puneri Paltan won game by a scoreline of 49-30, with Akash Shinde scoring 11 points, and defenders Abinesh Narajan, Gaurav Khatri and Aman all scoring a Hi-5 each. Meanwhile, for Gujarat Giants, it was Guman Singh who stood out with 13 points.

Defending champions Puneri Paltan were out of blocks at rapid pace, and picked up an early le against Gujarat Giants, who found it tough to get going in initial minutes. Within first five minutes Puneri Paltan also landed an ALL OUT via Abinesh Narajan on Gujarat Giants, which put Season 10 champions in box seat.

Midway through first half, Puneri Paltan led Gujarat Giants by 9 points, with Akash Shinde and Abinesh Narajan leing way for ir side. Gujarat Giants h Guman Singh fighting a lone battle at this point, and what put m under more pressure is a second ALL OUT. At half-time break, dominant Puneri Paltan led contest by 30-9.

second half started off with an ALL OUT going, again, in favour of Puneri Paltan, who were well and truly in control of contest. early exchanges saw Puneri Paltan continue to pick up points at will, while Gujarat Giants h Guman Singh and Rakesh fighting on. Meanwhile, Puneri Paltan’s Pankaj Mohite, Akash Shinde, Mohit Goyat, Abinesh Narajan and Gaurav Khatri were causing ir opponents all sorts of problems. At half-hour mark, Puneri Paltan led by 25 points.

In final phase of contest, Gujarat Giants h a few positive moments, both in defence and in attack, including being able to land an ALL OUT on Puneri Paltan. But it was never going to be enough, as Puneri Paltan romped over line to a comprehensive and comfortable win to kick start ir week.
