PKL 2019 final: Dabang Delhi KC vs Bengal Warriors head-to-head

Dabang Delhi KC and Bengal Warriors will have a final showdown at the PKL 2019 final on Saturday, October 19 at the EKA Arena by TransStadia, Ahmedabad.

Dabang Delhi KC and Bengal Warriors will face each other in one final clash for the PKL 2019 season on Saturday, October 19. The match will be held at the EKA Arena by TransStadia, Ahmedabad (19:30 IST). Dabang Delhi KC beat Bengaluru Bulls to qualify, while Bengal Warriors defeated U Mumba to book a spot in the finals. Both teams were the table-toppers for PKL 2019 and had directly qualified for the semi-finals on October 16. This is the first time Dabang Delhi KC have qualified for a PKL final.

PKL 2019 final Dabang Delhi KC vs Bengal Warriors head-to-head: Previous seasons

Dabang Delhi KC and Bengal Warriors have come face-to-face 12 times from PKL season 1 to PKL season 6. These encounters include one Interzone challenge week match in season 5 and one Interzone challenge week match, one Interzone wildcard game and an eliminator in season 6. Bengal Warriors have won four matches while Dabang Delhi KC have won six matches. Their PKL season 5 Interzone challenge week match was a 31-31 tie. In Season 3, Bengal Warriors won both their games. Dabang Delhi bagged all three wins of season 6, which includes the eliminator 2. All other seasons, apart from season 5, both teams have won one game each.

PKL 2019 final: Dabang Delhi vs Bengal Warriors head-to-head

In the two matches Dabang Delhi KC and Bengal Warriors have played during PKL season 7, one has been a victory for Bengal Warriors, while the other was a tie. In their first match on August 17 was a 30-30 tie. Bengal Warriors had 19 raid points, eight tackle points, two all-out points and two extra points, while Dabang Delhi KC had 18 raid points, seven tackle points, two all-out points and three extra points. Ten of Bengal's raid points were contributed by K Prapanjan. Naveen Kumar and Chandran Ranjit scored 11 and six raid points respectively. Joginder Narwal and Jeeva Kumar were the top defenders with four points each.

Their second match on September 30 was a 42-33 victory for Bengal Warriors. Maninder Singh's team had 28 raid points, eight tackle points and six all-out points. Dabang Delhi KC scored 23 raid points, six tackle points, two all-out points and two extra points. Maninder Singh and Sukesh Hegde scored 13 and 7 raid points for Bengal Warriors respectively. Naveen Kumar scored 15 raid points, while Chandran Ranjit scored 6 raid points. Baldev Singh and Anil Kumar were the top defenders with three tackle points each.
