Apart from experienced players like Fazel Atrachali and Sandeep Narwal, youngsters and debutants like Arjun Deshwal and Ajinkya Kapre have had the chance to shine. Abhishek Singh has stepped into the role of U Mumba's top raider, scoring 135 raid points and eight Super 10s in PKL 2019. Arjun Deshwal, Athul MS and Rohit Baliyan's support has also been crucial for U Mumba to reach the PKL playoffs. Recently, debutant Kapre earned Mumbai nine raid points, helping U Mumba bag their wins against Haryana Steelers. For defence, Fazel Atrachali has performed consistently, earning 78 tackle points. He tops the leaderboard for highest tackle points in PKL 2019. Surinder Singh and Narwal have contributed with a combined total of almost 100 points.

Captained by Dharmaraj Cheralathan and coached by Rakesh Kumar, Haryana Steelers were the third team to qualify for the PKL playoffs. Even though they faced some defeats, they entered the PKL playoffs by ranking fifth on the points table. Vikash Kandola, with 178 raid points, has been instrumental in Haryana Steelers bagging a victory. Prashanth Kumar Rai has also performed well with 82 raid points to his name. Right corner defender Sunil leads the defence with 55 tackle points. combined with Cheralthan Anna's experience and Ravi Kumar and Vikas Kale's brute strength, Haryana Steelers have a solid well-balanced defence.
