Kevin Durant names all-time starting 5, Harden and Irving make the cut
Durant is recovering from surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon. He was injured while playing for the GSW in the NBA Finals last season which they lost.

NBA star Kevin Durant might not take the court for Brooklyn Nets this season as he recovers from injury, but that’s not going to stop the power forward from being in news. While appearing in a leading American podcast show, Durant was asked to create a starting 5 comprised of the best players he’s ever played with.

Durant is undergoing surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles tendon. He was injured while playing for the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals last season, followed by which he left the Warriors to sign with the Nets in July. He signed a reported 4-year, $164 million contract with the Brooklyn Nets in the off-season.

The answer given by the player might surprise some Warriors fans: Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Draymond Green, Serge Ibaka, and himself. The major surprise was Durant leaving out his former captain at GSW, Stephen Curry and Russell Westbrook.
His reasoning for the picks was funny too. He said that these players can switch everything on D and they are all world-class scorers and facilitators and block shots as well, making it a perfect team.
Draymond Green Regrets Fight With Ex-GSW Teammate Kevin Durant
While speaking to an American sports podcast, Green had said that he was probably wrong in lashing out at his former teammate. Last season, Green and Durant got into an on-court disagreement last November in a regular-season game against the Clippers after Green grabbed a rebound and didn't pass to Durant, who was open. The incident went till the locker room after which Green was suspended for one game without pay for conduct.
