Englishman Kyren Wilson defeated his countryman Gary Wilson 10-8 in their opening round match at the Snooker World Championships.

Englishman Kyren Wilson defeated his countryman Gary Wilson 10-8 in their opening round match at the Snooker World Championships at the Crucible in Sheffield, UK, on Monday.
The pair we neck-and-neck throughout the match, with both playing solid frames.
However, Kyren Wilson took the advantage when Gary Wilson failed to sink a red early in the 15th frame.
He rounded it out without error to take a 9-7 lead and although Gary Wilson pulled one frame back, Kyren Wilson race to a 73-0 lead in the 17th to score enough points to take the match.
