LeBron James sent a taco truck for the first respondents and firefighters who are fighting the Getty Fire that started in California. Here are the details.

NBA star LeBron James sent a taco truck to the first respondents fighting the Getty Fire. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti tweeted about James sending the truck, thanking him for his generosity towards the Los Angeles firefighters, first responders and partner agencies who are battling the California wildfire. Garcetti also attached two photos of the officials ordering food.

Lebron James had to evacuate his California home due to fire

On Monday, October 28, James and his family were asked to evacuate their home in Brentwood, California as the wildfire was approaching. James continued to post updates on twitter, while he also prayed for all the people who stayed near the area. He also wished the first responders and firefighters luck and said that they are currently doing their best.

In an interview during the LA Lakers practice, he admitted to the event being challenging, as it is difficult to evacuate at a ‘rapid, rapid, rate’. James said that one does not have time to think, and has to only focus on reaching a safe place. He also thanked and praised the first respondents, saying that the situation is a 'lot less worse' because of their efforts and unbelievable bravery. James’ next match is against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday, October 30 at the Lakers’ home Staples Center.
