Conor McGregor Responds After UFC Boss Dana White Says The Notorious Wont Fight In 2024

UFC Boss Dana White recently announced that Conor McGregor will not be fighting in 2024. Check out how The Notorious replied.

UFC Boss Dana White recently announced during a press conference that UFC star Conor McGregor will not be fighting in the year 2024. 

Conor was initially scheduled to fight Michael Chandler earlier this year but had to pull out of that fight due to him injuring his toe. “We talked. We talked. We didn’t meet up but we talked, and yeah, (McGregor) wants to fight. So we’ll figure it out. (But) not this year. He won’t fight this year,” Dana White said.

Following the announcement by Dana White regarding Conor not fighting in 2024, the UFC fighter expressed his displeasure after he took to social media to reply to Dana White.

McGregor took to X to share his displeasure with the news that he will not be fighting in 2024.

The Notorious on X wrote, “Ah Dana, December is the date! Bring the calendar year home with a winning event! Come on now, what’s this? I am off to altitude next month to prepare. DECEMBER! Tell Dana and UFC WE WANT DECEMBER! WE DESERVE DECEMBER!”

When Will The MAC Return? 

Conor McGregor has been absent in the UFC for over 3 years now. Conor's last fight in the UFC was against Dustin Poirier.

During the fight Conor broke his foot and thus has been out of action since. Following several heated exchanges and being on the opposite sides as coaches on UFC's Ultimate Fighter, Conor vs Michael Chandler was going to be the comeback fight of the star but following a toe injury, the MAC had to pull out of it. 

Several fans also speculate that it is now time for McGregor to retire as since he has been absent for such a long time, it will be impossible for him to get back to his best.
