'I'll stop 'Chito' in..': UFC Champ Sean O'Malley makes a bold prediction about Marlon Vera fight

The always effervescent UFC Bantamweight champion, Sean O'Malley, will take on his old foe Marlon Vera at UFC 299. It is a rematch that took years to formulate, and now that the date- March 9, 2024- has been set, O'Malley could not wait to get revenge for his only loss in his MMA career.

Sean O'Malley vs Marlon Vera to take place at UFC 299

Ahead of the much-anticipated rematch, Sean O'Malley has predicted the outcome of the fight and in the process has delivered a chilling warning to his opponent Chito Vera. The two will collide at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida on March 9, 2024. Previously, the two came face to face at UFC 252, where the Ecuadorian picked a TKO win over Suga Sean. While nothing explosive happened during the match, it was just some neat calf kicks from Vera and O'Malley got imbalanced while moving inside the Octagon. 

To date O'Malley hasn't accepted his defeat from that day, however, destiny is all set to script the second chapter of this contest and it would be intriguing to witness who walks the talk this time.

O'Malley and Chito's prediction before the fight

In the build-up to the action, both have showcased their presence on social media and have predicted the respective results of the upcoming contest.

O'Malley recently noticed a tweet which mentioned the fact that Vera hasn't been finished in his MMA career till now. He then commented on it and left a claim that he would finish Chito in round 3 or 4. 

"I'll stop 'Chito' in the 3rd or 4th"

Subsequently, Marlon Vera responded and made a similar sort of forecast. 

"I will make Sean quit."

While there is still time left before the action between the two will finally get a go-ahead, before that some social media back-and-forth is likely between these hot-headed fighters.
