'I'm ready to put you behind me': Michael Chandler Issues New Statement About Conor McGregor

Michael Chandler has once again taken shots at his rival UFC fighter Conor McGregor after their fight at UFC 303 was cancelled.

Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor's fight at UFC 303 was one of the most anticipated fights of the year but had to be cancelled after Conor McGregor pulled out of the fight due to a fractured toe. Conor McGregor has been absent from combat sports for over 3 years now and there has been speculation that the MAC might never return to the UFC cage after once again pulling out of a fight. Conor McGregor's last fight was back in July,2021 when he lost top Dustin Poirier after he broke his foot mid-fight. 

Michael Chandler and Conor McGregor have had a fued for a very long time now and the two fighters were opposing team coaches on UFC The Ultimate Fighter.

Chandler Ready To Move On From McGregor 

Conor McGregor is the most sought after fight in combat sports as the Irish MMA fighter is considered as a very heavily paid fight. After months and months of beefing with each other even after McGregor pulled out of the UFC 303 fight, UFC Boss Dana White announced that McGregor will not be fighting in 2024. This led to a displeased Michael Chandler who is not getting his opportunity to fight Conor Mcgregor.

Now on an episode of Beat The Heat, Michael Chandler again took shots at Conor McGregor and told him that he was ready to move past the Irish superstar.

"I'm not gonna ever play the victim...It's more just with all due respect, I'm ready to put you behind me. I'm ready to put you flat on your back in the middle of an octagon wherever it is, hopefully Las Vegas, Nevada. And I can walk out of that octagon and never have to think about you again. I can just ride the coattails of the eyeballs that were there that night," said Chandler. 

Dana White Has Conor McGregor News 

UFC boss Dana White recently went live on Instagram and had a session with the fans. During the session he revealed that he will soon be announcing some Conor McGregor related news. Many fans speculate this could be regarding the Mystic Mac's return to the Octagon as the excitement for his return has now turned into frustration.
