Following the culmination of the fight, the "Problem Child" reminded fans about his unfinished business with legendary boxer Mike Tyson, and in addition to that, he made an unexpected call-out to UFC Light-heavyweight Champion Alex Pereira. Paul challenged Poatan to face him in the boxing ring.

Jake Paul Calls Out Alex Pereira Following Win Over Mike Perry
Jake Paul has set his sights on Alex Pereira for his next fight. Today, Paul clinched a resounding victory against BKFC fighter Mike Perry. With a record of 9-1 entering the bout, Paul maintained control throughout. In contrast, Perry, although a former UFC athlete, was relatively inexperienced in boxing, with this being only his second bout in the sport. Jake Paul's dominance was evident right from the first round.
Paul landed an early blow that caused a cut on Perry’s face. With a series of powerful punches, Perry was knocked down three times. Finally, in the sixth round, Jake Paul delivered the knockout blow, improving his boxing record to 10-1. Following his win, Jake Paul made a surprising announcement, expressing his interest in facing UFC light heavyweight champion, Alex Pereira.

In his post-match ring interview with Ariel Helwani, Jake Paul called out Alex Pereira. Paul stated, "Alex Pereira, you say you want to box," Paul declared, his confidence sky-high. He continued, “I’m the king of this. Come over. We can make it happen. I want you, Alex Pereira.”
Helwani double-checked with Paul about whether he is indeed talking about Alex Pereira of the UFC.
