Jake Paul Takes A Dig At Conor McGregor After Dana White Announces No Fight For The MAC In 2024

Youtuber turned boxer Jake Paul recently took shots at Conor McGregor after UFC CEO Dana White announced that the Irish star will not be fighting this year.

UFC CEO Dana White recently announced that Irish superstar Conor McGregor will not be fighting this year. McGregor was going to make his comeback this year and was supposed to fight Michael Chandler but due to breaking his toe, McGregor had to pull out of the fight. 

McGregor had promised to return in 2024 on a later date after healing but this is not going to be so since Dana White's announcement. Expressing his displeasure upon this statement, McGregor took to social media to reply to Dana White.

Jake Paul Fires Shots 

Youtuber turned boxer has become a big name amongst combat sports circles ever since his turn into a boxer. Paul currently holds an impressive record of 9-1 with his only loss coming against Tommy Fury. Jake Paul and Conor McGregor have not hesitated from attacking each other on social media and various other platforms in regard to their mutual dislike of each other.

After Dana White's announcement, McGregor took to X to voice his displeasure at the situation. Jake Paul took this as an opportunity to fire shots and troll the Irish star. McGregor had originally tweeted," "Ah Dana, December is the date! Bring the calendar year home with a winning event! Come on now, what's this? I am off to altitude next month to prepare. DECEMBER! Tell Dana and UFC WE WANT DECEMBER! WE DESERVE DECEMBER!"

Jake Paul trolled McGregor with his own tweet. “Dana come on, December pretty please. I’m going to train in the mountains hahahaha,” Paul tweeted. 

McGregor Absent From The Fight Game 

Conor McGregor has not had a fight for over three years now. McGregor's last fight came in July 2021 when he fought against Dustin Poirier. During the fight McGregor injured and broke his foot. Ever since then, the ‘Money Fight’ has been absent from the sport.

McGregor has been working on making a comeback to the sport and was announced to fight Chandler this year but due to a broken toe had to pull out of the fight.
