Jorge Masvidal retired with a superstar status
Jorge Masvidal has had his share of ups and downs inside the Octagon, but since the 5-second knock-out win over Ben Askren, he turned into a huge superstar in the promotion. His superstar status gave him the impetus to cut the queue and get shots at the UFC Welterweight title. However, after failing to capture the UFC title from Kamaru Usman and then suffering losses against his friend-turned-foe Colby Covington and then Gilbert Burns, the fighter called it a career. However, judging the one-word thought that he has presented on social media, the fight fans began to predict that it might as well not be over for Masvidal yet.

Chael Sonnen not convinced Jorge Masvidal would make UFC return
While many fans would be thrilled to witness Jorge Masvidal return to the UFC, according to former UFC Fighter, Chael Sonnen, it may not happen. Sonnen paid heed to a potential Jorge Masvidal vs Justin Gaethje match for the BMF title but according to him, it will be a dead rubber.
"But Jorge can't fight in the octagon if it doesn't have a significance. As big of a fight as Jorge vs. Gaethje for the BMF would be, the BMF is a dead-end road. The BMF has no lineage and the BMF has never been defended and the BMF will take you nowhere." Sonnen communicated via his official YouTube channel.
