UFC 306: Titles Change Hands as History was me at Sphere in Las Vegas

UFC 306 was an absolute showcase for Mexico as it celebrated its heritage and showcased Mexican pride. Two massive title matches were on line, and main card did not disappoint by a bit. In co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko defeated Alexa Grasso of Mexico over course of five rounds to reclaim UFC flyweight title.

In main event, Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili locked horns for title, and Dvalishvili was an absolute beast against Suga Sean. A title win was something which Russian striker h been waiting for a long time, and he looked to have fun against Sean, who particularly struggled throughout contest. In end, Dvalishvili was elected as winner and was crowned as new bantamweight champion via unanimous decision.

Dvalishvili defeated his fourth consecutive former champion to have an eleven-fight winning streak. He also overtook Aljamain Sterling's record for longest UFC bantamweight win streak (10 wins). O'Malley's run of seven straight victories came to an end.
