As seen in images below, Mick Schumacher was involved in a major crash, following which his car split in half, with rear suspension and rear wing getting completely detached. racers h just switched from wet and intermediate tyres to dry tyres when Haas F1 driver lost control of his car through swimming pool section and hit wall.

Following shocking incident, race stewards first implemented Virtual Safety Car, in which drivers are required to reduce ir speeds to a certain limit. However, with wreckage still not clear, full Safety Car was n implemented two minutes later. At this time, full field was brought toger. But when debris was not cleared, stewards finally decided to red flag race to give marshals enough time to fix barrier.
