Boston Celtics defeated Toronto Raptors 112-106 on Saturday, October 26. The match took place at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusets. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum were top scorers for the Celtics as both scored 25 points for the team. Both had nine rebounds and four assists. Kemba Walker followed with 22 points, six rebounds and two points. Gordon Hayward and Marcus Smart scored 15 and 10 points respectively.

Pascal Siakam was the top performer for Toronto Raptors with 33 points, eight rebounds and two assists. The player started slowly compared to his 34-point game in the season opener and was scoreless in the first half till he managed to score with a finger roll right before Q2 ended. Kyle Lowry scored 29 points and seven assists, which included six three-pointers. However, Siakam and Lowry had nine turnovers between them. Serge Ibaka also scored in double digits.

Brown and Tatum scored early points for the Celtics, while Lowry and OG Anunoby scoring for the Raptors as Siakam missed his first four shots. Serge Ibaka also scored points for the Raptors, including an assist to Terence Davis. Robert Williams III and Gordon Hayward also score in Q2, which ends with Celtics having a 50-49 lead. As Lowry and Siakam scored in Q3, Raptors gain a 76-82 advantage by the time the quarter ends. However, Walker gains momentum in Q4, scoring 11 of his 22 points during the last half. While the Raptors were still leading by a point with around five minutes left to play, Brown's assist to a cutting Hayward with a half-court bounce pass for a layup gave the Celtics a 99-98 lead. Brown's key three-pointer while 2:43 minutes were left to go, earned the Celtics a 110-106 lead again. Tatum scored the final two points of the game.
