Golden State Warriors beat the Portland Trail Blazers 127-118 to bag their first home win this NBA season. Rookie Eric Paschall scored 34 points and 13 rebounds against the Blazers on his birthday, leading the team to victory. Ky Bowman and Damion Lee added 19 and 18 points respectively. The home crowd cheered for Paschall and filled up the Chase Center with 'MVP' chants. 

Damian Lillard scored 39 points, 2 rebounds and 4 assists for the Blazers. Hassan Whiteside added 22 points and 11 rebounds. CJ McCollum and Anfernee Simons both scored 14 points each respectively.

NBA: Golden State Warriors vs Portland Trail Blazers match report

Paschall started the game early with a pair of three-pointers and scored a total of 17 points. Warriors were leading early in Q4, but the Blazers made a comeback. Paschall scored three points on the go, which gave the Warriors a 107-99 lead. With just over six minutes left on the clock, Bowman scored a two-point shot. He collided with Whiteside and got pushed with his elbow. The officials replayed the game and Whiteside was issued a technical warning. Warriors won the game with a 9-point lead.
