LeBron James recently surpassed Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant on NBA's all-time steals list. On Monday, vember 4, James led Lakers to a 103-96 victory over San Antonio Spurs. After helping Lakers build a 56-43 halftime advant, James added one steal to his 111 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. He w has 1945 steals, which is 15th most in NBA history.

Derek Harper and Allen Iverson are ranked above King James at 14 and 15 respectively on list of career steals. James is 12 steals behind Harper, who has 1957 steals, and 38 steals behind Iverson, who has 1983. James can surpass both players before All-Star break. James will n be facing Mookie Blaylock, who has 2075 steals and Karl Malone, who has 2085 steals. Oklahoma City Thunder guard Chris Paul, who has 2,131 steals in his NBA career, is only active player who ranks above James. John Stockton tops list with 3265 total steals.

James has averd at 121 steals per season ever since he began his NBA career. If James maintains his aver number of 121 steals, he would finish NBA 2019-20 season with a total of 2058 steals. He would n be ranked 13th, below Blaylock. If he continues with his aver, James will be on top 10 list by time NBA 2020-21 comes to an end. His annual aver would give him an approximate total of 2179 steals. With that number, James would rank above Hakeem Olajuwon, who has 2162 steals, on all-time steals list, and below Clyde Drexler, who has 2207 steals.
