NBA: Stephen Curry breaks left hand after bad fall against Suns

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry broke his hand after falling on his left wrist while playing the Phoenix Suns on Thursday, October 31 at Chase Center.

Warriors' star player Stephen Curry broke his left hand while playing Phoenix Suns. Golden State Warriors guard injured his left hand after falling on his left hand on Thursday, October 31. MVP was slow to get up and had to leave game midway. Soon after, Warriors anunced that Curry has broken his left hand. A CT scan will be done to understand extent of injury.

Curry drove and elevated, with Suns’ Aron Baynes standing firm on his feet. Curry leapt with ball but crashed straight into Baynes. Curry fell to ground, trying to brace himself. However, Baynes went down with Curry, falling on his left wrist. two-time MVP was down for a considerable amount of time, before getting up and exiting court with 8:31 minutes left to Q3. Curry was clearly in pain as he made his way to locker room. Curry had scored nine points, six assists and five rebounds before he had to walk out. Warriors lost game 110-121.

NBA news: What could Stephen Curry's injury mean for Warriors?

Losing Curry due to an injury could be a serious blow to Warriors. Curry is ir eldest and longest-tenured player. Already struggling with ir new team, team could suffer if Curry remains gone for an extended period of time. With Kein Durant's departure to Brooklyn and Klay Thompson recovering from a torn ACL surgery in his left knee since July 2, Warriors have had some difficulty in starting season.
