Infamous NFL star Colin Kaepernick is said to have been handed a one-day trial by the NFL as the quarterback gears up for a return after a long gap of 3 years.

Kaepernick, who became an overnight sensation across globe, when he chose to kneel during American national anm in protest to racial injustice endemic in US, has been without an NFL franchise since 2016. However, as per recently confirmed reports, 33-year old has been touted to make a return to competition this year with NFL organising a special tryout for his services.

If NFL memo obtained by ESPN is to be believed, NFL has organised a one-day trial event that will allow all 32 NFL teams to make a bid for Colin Kaepernick if y wish to. trial will be similar to that of collegiate prospects during run-up to NFL draft. NFL franchises will be permitted to send scouts or request video foot of Kaepernick's trial to be me available.

During his previous spell in NFL, Colin Kaepernick completed 59.2% of his passes, averd 6.8 yards per attempt and threw 16 touchdowns with four interceptions in 12 games for 49ers during 2016 campaign.
