NFL Playoffs: Saints, Patriots in trouble while Ravens, Chiefs are cruising after Week 14

The NFL playoffs race is starting to heat up, with three weeks left to go. The Patriots' loss against the Chiefs has made life difficult for the champions.

With three weeks left to go in regular season of National Football League (NFL) this season, NFL playoffs picture is starting to take some shape this month. Week 14 results were interesting, to say least. San Francisco 49ers' victory over New Orleans Saints was arguably most entertaining game of this season, whereas Patriots' loss against Kansas City Chiefs was fodder for headlines after weekend. Here's a look at how NFL playoffs picture looks after Week 14.

NFL playoffs picture: AFC 

A 42-17 win over Buffalo Bills secured qualification for Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. A victory over New York Jets or a loss for Pittsburgh Steelers will mean that Ravens will secure AFC rth division title as early as Thursday. Courtesy of head-to-head tiebreaker,  Ravens also have a two-game lead over Patriots with three games left to play in regular season. For Patriots, a win over Cincinnati Bengals will secure an NFL playoffs berth for reigning Super Bowl champions. While Patriots are yet to clinch  AFC East title, y do have a comparatively breezier run of games scheduled for next couple of weeks. Kansas City Chiefs, on or hand, have secured an NFL playoffs berth with a win against Patriots. Chiefs have also clinched  AFC West, ir fourth consecutive division title.

NFL playoffs picture: NFC

San Francisco 49ers clawed ir way back in  48-46 win over Saints in Week 14 and a win over Atlanta Falcons in Week 15 will see m clinch an NFL playoffs spot. Packers will need to win all of ir three remaining games if y are to hold on to  . 2 seed. Given Packers' superior conference record, Saints have made things difficult for mselves after a roller-coaster loss against 49ers. Saints will be hoping that  Seahawks win NFC West, which would bode well for Saints since y hold head-to-head tiebreaker with Seahawks.
