Indian gold medal winning javelin thrower Navdeep Singh opened up about his favourite movies and actors from Bollywood.
Navdeep Singh made the entire country proud by winning India the gold medal at the men's javelin throw competition at the Paralympics. He had originally won the silver medal but when the Irani competitor was disqualified for repeatedly displaying an objectionable flag, Navdeep's silver was promoted to a gold medal. Navdeep had a final throw of 47.32m which helped him secure the gold medal. With Navdeep Singh winning the men's javelin throw competition, India won the seventh gold medal at the Paralympics, the country's highest gold medal tally ever.
Recently Navdeep Singh had a sit down with Republic where he opened up about his personal life and more.
Navdeep Singh On The Art Of Acting
Navdeep Singh when talking to Republic was asked about his love for movies after he stated that he loves watching movies and recently watched Stree 2 right before he left for Paris. When asked about who his favorite actor is, Navdeep stated that he does not have a specific favorite but rather he enjoys the art that is acting and the unique attributes several actors possess.
Q- Yes you're speaking from the heart so now I will ask questions that you answer right from the heart. You said you're a movie buff so who's your favorite movie star?
A- I don't have any favorite movie star but I like the art. For instance, I like the unique qualities of actors. I prefer to watch comedy movies because they relieve tension. There's a lot of stress and pressure in life. But tension depends on how we react so that's why I like watching comedy movies a lot doesn't matter the actor. I don't have any favorites but there are some movies that I am always ready to watch like Hungama, Chup Chup Ke, Hera Pheri. So there are some comedy films that I like to watch anytime.
Navdeep Singh heavily emphasized the fact that he is a huge comedy movie buff.
Navdeep Plans To Watch Stree 2 Again
Navdeep Singh in his chat revealed that the most recent movie he watched was Stree 2 starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao. He admitted that he watched Stree 2 right before he left for Paris and he plans to watch it again soon now that he is back in India.

A- Stree 2

A- Very Good
Q- Did you enjoy it? What did you like the most?
A- There were a lot of fun dialogues in the movie. Can't tell everyone here but I enjoyed it a lot and will go to watch it a second time. I watched it just before I boarded my flight to Paris. Because I knew once I reached Paris, I won't be able to see the film.
The Indian contingent concluded its historic campaign at the Paris Paralympics with 29 medals, including seven gold, nine silver, and thirteen bronze. This was the most medals won by the nation in the history of the competition.
