Avani Lekhara sets a Paralympic record with a score of 249.7

India are on the ninth spot of the Paralympics medal's tally after Avni Lekhara and Mona Agarwal's double podium finish.

Mona Agarwal win bronze and Avani Lekhara wins gold for India, it is a double podium finish for India.

Avani with a score of 145.9 is on the first spot, whereas Mona is on the third spot with 144.8 points

In the WD10 women's doubles quarterfinal, Bhavina Patel and Sonalben Patel take on Young A Jung and Sunghye Moon of Korea. Bhavina and Sonalben will be assured of a medal if they win this match.

In their men's singles SL3 Group A match, Nitesh easily defeats China's Jianyuan Yang, winning 21-5, 21-11 to seal the victory.

Nitesh Kumar was in action at badminton and won the first game by 21-5 against Jianyuan Yang. Onto the second game now! 

Manoj Sarkar defeated by Bunsun In the Men's Singles SL3 Group A match, Manoj Kumar of India falls to Mongkhon Bunsun of Thailand 19-21, 8-21, ending his match in a straight-set loss.

Avani is in first place after the fifth series, having scored 105.6. Despite finishing sixth with a score of 104.1, Mona Agarwal can still make it to the final.

Manasi had three game points but was unable to take advantage of them as Oksana Kozyna of Ukraine wins two straight games by scores of 10-21, 21-15, and 23-21. Manasi has lost and is eliminated from the competition.

After losing the first match, Oksana Kozyna fought back to put up a score against Manasi Joshi. The game enters into a decider.
