India Celebrates Manu Bhaker's Historic Bronze
Fans took to Social Media to share their reactions on Manu Bhaker's historic win. India missed out on a silver medal by just 0.1 but considering her heartbreak at Tokyo in 2021, this certainly stands as a breakthrough acheivement for the nation. India hadn't won a medal in shooting since Vijay Kumar did in 2012 and Manu Bhaker broke years of heartbreak for the nation at the Summer Games.
Manu Bhaker reached her historic Bronze medal by shooting a 221.7 and lost out to Korean Kim Yeji who claimed the silver with a total of 241.3 while her compatriot Jin Ye Oh bagged the gold with a Games record of 243.2.
