On August 7, Indian athletes are set to compete in a series of high-stakes events at the Paris Olympics 2024, aiming for glory across multiple disciplines. The day kicks off with Suraj Panwar and Priyanka Goswami vying for a medal in the mixed marathon race walk relay event. 

Golfers Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar tee off in the women's individual stroke play, while the Indian women's table tennis team faces a challenging quarterfinal against Germany. In athletics, Sarvesh Kushare will compete in the men's high jump qualification, and Jyothi Yarraji takes on the women's 100m hurdles heats. 

Wrestling sees Antim Panghal battling in the women's freestyle 53kg round of 16, with Praveen Chithravel and Abdulla Aboobacker later striving for qualification in the men's triple jump. Weightlifting sensation Mirabai Chanu aims for a medal in the women's 49kg category, and the day concludes with Vinesh Phogat's medal match in women's freestyle 50kg and Avinash Sable competing in the men's 3000m steeplechase final.
