Day six of the Paris Olympics will be an active one for the Indian athletes as three medal events are set to take place today. Athletics will be in action, and they will look to avenge the preceding heartbreaks. The 20km event finals will include action early in the day for both men's and women's racewalkers. One big showdown is all set to take place today as two Indian athletes will be competing against each other to advance further in the competition. India’s Day 6 in Paris Olympics India to Feature in Three Medal Events, Shooting & Badminton to Remain in Focus

Three medal matches will be in place today and from the start, athletics will be in action as Akashdeep, Vikash, and Paramjeet Singh in the Men's and Priyanka Goswami will participate in the medal event in the racewalk event. Lakshya Sen and HS Prannoy will square off in the men's singles Round of 16. This round will eliminate one of the contestants. Another medal round which will be in focus on the afternoon will be the Men's 50m Rifle 3 Position Final as Swapnil Kusale will aim for the big prize and will aim to continue the shooting contingent's medal spree.

The evening's spotlight will be on Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty, two of India's top medal contenders in the Olympics in Paris. The quarterfinal match will feature the Indian badminton team. In the Round of 16, Nikhat Zareen, a boxer, faces Wu Yu, a former world champion from China. The match between shuttler PV Sindhu and He Bing Jaio in the Round of 16 would conclude India's day.
