A major controversy erupted at the Paris Olympics after Algeria's female boxer Imane Khelif who failed multiple sex tests defeated Italy's Angela Carini in Women's 65 kg Boxing.
The bout which lasted 45 seconds caused a major controversy as Algeria's Imane Khelif a ‘biological male’ who was banned from participating in major boxing events before the Olympics caused severe damage to Angela Carini with two punches forcing the Italian to quit the match.

As Imane Khelif won, Italy's Angela Carini was brought to tears as she yelled, “This is unjust”, this has sparked a major controversy in Paris as greats of combat sports have come out and made it clear that “Men Should Not be boxing Women”.
Rage over biological male allowed to box woman at Paris Olympics
The entire controversy stems from Algeria's Imane Khelif who is a ‘biological male’ was allowed to fight at the Paris Olympics and fought against Italy's Angela Carini in the Women's 66 KG Boxing preliminary round.

As it happened Angela Carini got deeply hurt in the bout and had to quit after 46 seconds as she was left with blood on her shorts. Carini was absolutely devasted as she fell to the Canvas and this has enraged fans and viewers on Social Media who vented their anger on how have Men been allowed to box Women at the Olympics.
Leading the rage was UFC great Israel Adesanya who made it clear with his post on X that Men should never be allowed to box females and said people will always be greater than politics.

Prior to the latest incident, Joe Rogan also lashed out at Organiser's decision to allow Imane Khelif to participate in the Paris Olympics as he said, “Imagine training your WHOLE life, getting good enough to earn a spot on the Olympic team, hoping to a win an Olympic medal....then you're told you have to fight a man. That's the tragic reality for these women,”

This has caused a major concern for Sports around the globe and a lot of flak is being thrown at International Olympic Committee (IOC) for taking such a decision and allowing an athlete to participate who had failed multiple gender tests prior to the sport.
