With the loss of Reetika Hooda, India's Paris Olympics campaign is nearing conclusion. India bagged only 6 medals till now in Olympics. 

Here's why Reetika Hooda lost in Paris Olympics despite being tied 1-1.

Reetika's Quarterfinal ended 1-1 but she lost due to countback rule. In this rule wrestler who has won the most recent points is declared as the winner if a bout ends with a tied score. 

Heartbreak for Reetika Hooda as she has lost in the Quarterfinals of women's 76kg wrestling to Aiperi Medet Kyzy of Kyrgyzstan. The bout ended 1-1 as Reetika lost on most recent points won. 

Reetika Hooda is leading 1-0 after an intense first three minutes. Not much separating the two wrestlers at the break. 

Both the wrestlers have taken to the court as the quarterfinal bout is underway. 

Reetika Hooda will face the World No.1 Aiperi Medet Kyzy in Quarterfinal. The Quarterfinal tie is set to take place from 4:00pm onwards. 

Reetika Hooda will face the number one seed Aiperi Medet Kyzy of Kyrgyzstan in the Quarterfinals of women's 76kg freestyle wrestling. 

Reetika Hooda has advanced into the Quarterfinals of women's 76kg wrestling freestyle at Paris Olympics after beating Hungary's Bernadett Naggy 12-2 in the quarterfinals. 

Hooda has taken a 8-2 lead with just under 2 minutes remaining as she is inching closer to the quarterfinals

Bernadett Naggy took down Reetika Hooda and has cut the lead down to 4-2, with more than 2 minutes remaining. 

Reetika Hooda's early takedown attempt was a success as she leads by 4 points with more than 3 minutes remaining. 

Reetika Hooda's bout is underway. 

Reetika Hooda will face Bernadett Naggy in the round of 16 of women’s 76kg wrestling. The 22-year old Indian wrestler is currently warming and will soon be taking on the court. 

Aditi is now tied for 35th place after moving up five spots. However, Diksha drops to 51st place, dropping nine spots.

 The final round is taking place and Diksha Dagar has fallen five places down! She is tied at 47. Aditi is tied at 40th.

The President of the CAS ad hoc division chose to extend the time limit for the Panel and the decision will not be taken at 09:30 PM IST.

Reetika Hooda, India's last female grappler in the Paris Olympics, will compete in the 76 kg women's freestyle category.

She is the first female to qualify for the specific category, and her goal is to see the tricolour fly high.

Aman Sehrawat was found 4.5kgs overweight and they had to pull off an all-nighter to cut his weight down, as per Aman's coach.

Diksha Dagar and Aditi Ashok begin the Day 15 proceedings and will look to enhance their rankings today.

Round 4 of Women's Individual Stroke Play in Golf, and India's Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar will be seen in action.
