Day 5 turned out to be the day of hits and misses for India at the Paris Olympics. However, glory will once again be in sight on Day 6 as Indian athletes are scheduled to feature in various disciplines. So far, Shooting has reaped the best results for India where Manu Bhaker, once individually and then with Sarabjot Singh, has fetched two Bronze medals for India. Shooting will once again be a focal point for India on Day 6 and if everything goes favorably then one more medal could be augmented in India's count from shooting. Nevertheless, that's not it, there are more than one medal events where India will have its contention. Thus, let's contemplate how many medals India could win today at the Paris Olympics 2024.

How Many Medals India Can Win Today At Paris Olympics?

Shooting, Boxing, Hockey, Golf, Archery, Badminton, Sailing, and Race Walk, are the disciplines where India athletes will be in action on Day 6. Among these, Shooting and Race Walk have medal events lined up. All eyes would be on Swapnil Kusale, who will present his challenge in the final of Men's 50m Rifle Three Positions. Along with him, Paramjeet Singh Bisht, Akashdeep Singh and Vikash Singh will vie for a podium finish in Men's 20km race walk. That's not it, in the women's category of 20km race walk Priyanka Goswami will be in action. All in all, a total of three medals are possible on paper. Plus, Nikhat Zareen's bout is also scheduled, she has a difficult draw against the Chinese but should she prevail, she would then remain one step away from booking herself a podium finish.   • Women's 20 km race walk: Priyanka is the only Indian in the list (medal event) — 12:50 PM

  • Men's Individual Finals: Gaganjeet Bhullar and Shubhankar Sharma -- 12.30 pm

Shooting

  • Men's 50m Rifle Three Positions (Medal round): Swapnil Kusale -- 1.00 pm
  • Women's 50m Rifle Three Positions (Qualification): Sift Kaur Samra and Anjum Moudgil -- 3.30 pm

Hockey

Boxing
