India's top medal contender at Paris Olympics, Nikhat Zareen prematurely collapsed out of the Summer Games and missed out on a medal.  The boxer has recently come out and reflected on her loss. 

All the attention would turn to Nishant Dev now for India as he will battle it out in the men's 71KG quarterfinal in Boxing. A win would mean Nishant Dev would win India it's fourth Olympic medal at Paris Olympics as the Semifinalists win a medal at Olympics for boxing.

With the elimination of Deepika Kumari, India's archery campaign has come to a end as the nation will once again go home from the Olympics without an archery medal.  

Deepika Kumari is knocked out of Paris Olympics in the Quarterfinals after losing to Nam Su-hyeon 6-4. It is another heartbreak for India as their first medal in Archery stays elusive. 

Deepika had another poor shot with 7 as the scores are tied 4-4. The final deciding set. 

Deepika has taken the third set 29-28. Deepika needed to score a perfect 10 with her final shot to take the set and she's done that. Now she is just one set away, from going into semis. 

Deepika Kumar shot a poor 6 as she conceded the second set to Nam Su-hyeon. Scores tied 2-2. 

Deepika Kumari has won the first set and leads 2-0, she took the first set by 28-26.

Indian golfers Shubhankar Sharma and Gaganjeet Bhullar will start their individual stroke play. However, both the golfers are far away from medal contention. 

In action, Bhajan Kaur receives an 8 and Choirunisa from Indonesia receives a 9. The Indonesian advances thanks to a victory in the shootout.

The Italian boxer Carini, who pulled out of her round-of-16 match against Algeria's Khelif in Paris 2024, will receive her $50,000 prize money from the IBA. Carini will get fifty thousand dollars, her coach will get twenty thousand dollars, and her federation will get twenty thousand dollars.
