'Every Athlete Is India's Pride': PM Modi Sends His Wishes To Indian Contingent At Paris Olympics

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has sent his best wishes to Indian Contingent ahead of the opening ceremony of Paris Olympics 2024.

India's honourary Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has sent his best wishes to Indian Contingent ahead of the opening ceremony of Paris Olympics 2024. 

PM Modi took to his Social Media to share his best wishes to the Athletes and called them India's pride. The Indian Contingent of 117 athletes suited up in the traditional Indian attire as they are ready for the opening ceremony at the Olympic Games. 

PM Modi's sends wishes for Indian Contingent 

As the sport's biggest spectacle officially gets underway with a grand opening ceremony at river Siene in the City of lights, the excitement is as high as high as it could be. 

With just moments to go in the Opening Ceremony, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to X to send his best wishes to Indian Contingent. He called all the athletes India's pride and wished them to shine in the true spirit of sportsmanship. 

“As the Paris Olympics commences, my best wishes to the Indian contingent. Every athlete is India’s pride. May they all shine and embody the true spirit of sportsmanship, inspiring us with their exceptional performances,” wrote PM Modi.

The Indian Contingent is ready for Paris Olympics 

The Indian Contingent is all set for the Grand Opening ceremony as they suited up in the traditional Indian attire for the spectacle at Siene.

PV Sindu and Achantha Sharath Kamal will be the flag bearers of India at the Paris Olympics as they will lead the Contingent.
