Indian shooter Manu Bhaker has become a role model to several young kids who aspire to take up sports in the future. Manu's splendid performance at the Paris Olympics helped her clinch two bronze medals and also got the honour of becoming the co-flag bearer at the closing ceremony. Bhaker recently opened up on staying motivated despite the results and also inspired the young generation regarding sports as a career.

Manu Bhaker Inspires The Masses, Hails on Being a Part of Sports as a Career

Manu Bhaker was recently felicitated at an educational institution in Chennai, where she touched upon choosing sports as a future endeavour instead of going for the conventional options like a doctor or engineer. She also urged the young members of the audience to dream bigger and also opened up on keeping her head up high, irrespective of the results.

"To achieve the goal, we must put in a lot of hard work and effort. It doesn't always start with aiming for something big, you also have to work to achieve it. If you can dream big, you can achieve big. So, always start by dreaming big. I always tell myself that no matter if I win or lose in any competition, I'll always be very confident and hold myself high and together, and be very confident. We have many career options. You don't have to become a doctor or an engineer. Sports life is a beautiful life. From financial support to any kind of it, you get everything in sports," Manu Bhaker said at a felicitation event in a Chennai School.

Manu Bhaker catapulted to fame after her two bronze medal finishes at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The markswoman became the first Indian athlete to win two medals in the same event in the post-independence era. Manu's performance was nothing less than supreme as she helped open India's medal tally. After Neeraj Chopra, Bhaker was the biggest Indian sensation at the 2024 Summer Games.

The Double Olympic Bronze Medalist also revealed that she will be taking a break from shooting and also confirmed missing the ISSF World Cup Final in New Delhi.
